A teacher working in any educational institution under the University for at least a continuous period of eighteen months immediately preceding the date of his application may be permitted by the Academic Council to appear at an examination conducted by the University provided that where the examination involves practical work also he shall have fulfilled the prescribed requirements regarding the same.
